This is my first week in MA studies, to be honest, I found there are lots of things are difficult to me. such as i can’t understand the whole conversations in the class, and some new professional words. so i need to learn more and improve my listening, and at the weeken i went to the library to borrow some books which are recommended in the course handbook. Maybe the first stage is the most tough time to our foreign students, but i don’t want to just stay here, i need to study hard and moving on.
Assignment – Treatment
You must all write a treatment of up to 300 words about your film idea for the 3 minute film assignment. As a guide think about the treatment in four sections:
1. Subject – Who is your film about. Why do you find them interesting. Is this someone whose story is happening now that you can film in actuality or are they retelling a story.
2. Creative – What will the film look like – what images will you use, what style of camera work, how will you use sound. Describe the film visually.
3. Production – What considerations do you need to take practically and technically to make this film.
4. Impact – what do you want your audience to feel or do when they watch your film.
